Before opening the doors to RE/MAX NEXT in 2017 I had spent a number of years studying other brokerages and how agents run their businesses. What I discovered was most brokerages still treated agents as they did thirty years ago before the internet revolutionized the role of the Realtor. Mainly, they treated them as if the broker needed the brokerage and not the other way around. Although this might have been the case for a long time, times have changed and now more than ever it is the name of the Realtor that carries the most weight and NOT the brokerage. Seeing this firsthand as well, I wanted to create something that allows an agent to run their business as they want to with the freedom to market themselves instead of the brokerage. So I created RE/MAX NEXT which is specifically designed to help Realtors run their businesses without the limitations of a traditional brokerage. This means allowing them to earn the most amount of money, grow their brand, support them by proving them with all of the tools needed, providing real hands-on education, and most importantly all of the support they need. When we studied what the needs are of Realtors in the current world we found that most of the education is designed to help Realtors who have been in the industry for a long period of time. What was missing was the education newer Realtors needed to build a successful real estate business from the ground up. This means not only focusing on lead generation as most education does but instead focusing on the basics to lay the foundation needed to grow. Things like how to build a large database from scratch and to market to it. How to use social media properly to grow a brand and generate business. Understanding what it takes mentally to do a full commission job. How to follow up with leads to actually convert them. How to be a rockstar buyer and listing agent.
