I've had the privilege of managing Mike for the past 3 and a half years. Throughout that time, Mike's been a thoroughly excellent software engineer and has worked across our entire tech stack. He has always approached his work with great skill, diligence and enthusiasm. Mike brings a fantastic team spirit with him and it's obvious how he finds great satisfaction in helping the team and company achieve success. Myself and other team members always find his advice, and code reviews, to be insightful, useful and constructive. Hiring Mike has been one of the best decisions I've made and I wholeheartedly recommend him for any software engineering position. We've been lucky to have him at Hut Six.
