      On Road Electric Vehicles Aker Wade was cooperating with leading international companies to bring its fast charging technology to the emerging on-road electric vehicle sector. We leveraged market intelligence to enter the EV market with strategic development contracts and partners. During my time at Aker Wade, I secured the largest development contract, at that time, with General Motors to develop the Global SAE1772 charging standard. The engineering team I managed was the first in the world to fully implement the standard. During this time, we were DC Fast Charging vehicles from General Motors, FCA, Ford, Nissan, Volkswagen, BMW and Better Place.In conjunction with the charger and standards development, I established non-competing distribution channels for our product line. These included Bosch(formerly known as SPX), Club Assist and Coulomb Technologies. Ultimately, we used the same market intelligence platform to determine we were too early in the EVSE adoption cycle and determined the Automotive OEMs vertical needed another 10 years to develop the battery electric vehicle market. We quietly exited the market and reallocated resources to our industrial vertical. There was much contraction in the EVSE market shortly after we exited it. Show less

      Aker Wade was the leading developer of fast chargers and fleet energy management software for electric vehicles. Thanks to the company's commitment to innovative design, fast charging has emerged as the next-generation replacement for traditional forklift charging systems, increasing productivity, reducing fleet running costs, improving safety, and lowering greenhouse emissions.During my time at Aker Wade, I consistently lead the sales team in total sales year over year, I secured our largest end user contract with General Motors in partnership with our dealer Enersys/Douglas Battery. I pioneered our lead generation program, to provide our dealer network, more insight of the market, leads, and most importantly future proof Aker Wade’s funnel, in the event new distribution partners were needed. One of our lead generation successes was Magna. We were able to convert 5 facilities, after the initial one, and during this time they received our 15,000 fast charge port. My lead management program was administered through Salesforce.com, and leveraged plugin applications such as Google Analytics, Lead Forensics, and Hoovers D&B. Show less
