  My purpose in my profession is to deliver options for my clients to make business decisions without encroaching non-compliance triggers. I'm a Tax Accountant servicing the Cannabis industry. I've mastered the art of balancing operations and compliance within this highly regulated sector. I service this industry because there's a shortage of Accountants knowledgeable to assist business owners to overcome their industry-known pain points. I take pride in providing guidance on the tax process to stimulate business growth and increase compliance. I love the instance when my clients get that "Aha" moment of understanding the guidelines and limits of the Cannabis industry. Afterward, owners take assertive approaches to maximizing profits and beating the competition to the punch. Most owners in this industry have a different perspective because they're uncertain of how the federal and state guidelines allow their business to function.I address the concerns of my clients by tackling their pain points. I've done my job well when I can hear the excitement in their voices. At that point, they discard the infamous scenario of " I don't know what my tax position will be at the end of the quarter or year." My clients know exactly what their tax position will be, and that knowledge allows them to make decisions from a stance of strength instead of uncertainty.I've been called by some of my clients and colleagues as "Captain Compliance" This nickname has been given because of my FIRM stance on doing things the legal and correct way. I succeed in meeting and exceeding planned milestones and pushing my clients out of their comfort zones to maximize profits and mitigate risks.
