Mike Stephen was a pleasure to work with at WLUW. Even as a college student, he was already a skilled broadcaster who put tremendous time and dedication into his popular three-times-weekly show, Stephen in the Evenin', booking guests, producing recorded elements, and engineering live musical performances in addition to hosting. Mike's audio production and show preparation skills are exemplary, and he has a warm, personable on-air style that appeals to a broad array of listeners. Later, Mike created, produced, and hosted two talk shows at WLUW, Political Wrap and Outside the Loop Radio (the latter which continues to this day) -- both high-quality, professional productions, with Mike once again devoting impressive time and effort to research and production, as well as booking engaging guests and keeping the discussion lively and timely. Overall, Mike is a hard worker with great project management skills, as well as being a natural broadcaster who has an obvious love of the medium. His hosting, voice work, audio production, and show production skills are outstanding. I can't recommend him highly enough.
