      After two years of various Navy schools covering nuclear power and submarines, I was stationed on the USS Buffalo (SSN-715) in Pearl Harbor, HI. My roles included MPA (main propulsion assistant - officer in charge of the nuclear mechanics,) QA Officer, and Communicator (Officer in charge of communication equipment and radiomen.) I also stood watch underway as the Engineering Officer of the Watch (Office in chare of teh nuclear reactor,) Officer of the Deck (in charge of driving and operating teh submarine,) and import Duty Officer.
