Helped design, implement and maintain a C++ development kit for a large multi-platform Qt desktop application. Worked directly with integrators, sometimes on a daily basis. The development kit offered a C++ facade to a multi-threaded asynchronous reactor style implementation and the IPC relied on XML message passing. Worked on a Java based web server, implemented APIs and worked on Javascript web applications that used the APIs and performed the same type of integrations with C++ clients as well. Show less

Helped design and maintain services for reverse logistics. Created a COM+, C++ based service which used Fed Ex APIs and parsed large CSV files from daily uploads from RR Donnelley. These integration points provided package scans from cross docks and usually involved millions of scans. Developed and optimized a SQL Server data store which tracked and found anomalies in the data from the partners. Implemented another service to transform and migrate package scans from SQL Server to a Oracle Financials / Data Warehouse solution. Show less

Worked on a high performance C++ application server for a CRM help desk application. The server was based on the ACE framework, the API was XML based and used a SQL Server backend. Enhanced the MFC / Net Meeting based client and brought to it embedded IE to create a UI design that was Dynamic HTML based and interfaced it with the C++ COM based core.
