As the Terminal Manager, Asset Manager, and Operations Manager, I work as the sole office support for the flow of refrigerated deliveries and backhauls for all Save a Lot grocery stores in Colorado and South Dakota. • Oversee the maintenance and repairs for all assets including tractors and trailers. • Coordinate the scheduling and pickup of products with third-party vendors and internal Save a Lot management. • Generate daily/weekly LOS reports with emphasis on 98% minimum on-time percentage and total miles routed. • Build weekly KPI reports used to track weekly and quarterly trends of business expenses. • Engage corporate office on weekly operations calls to discuss the terminal flash report with emphasis on total COS and the gross profit report. • Act as local human resources/ payroll manager in charge of employee pay, time off, worker's compensation, claims, and benefits. • Remote manager-on-duty over weekends when the terminal is closed. • Conduct store visits with face-to-face meetings with store managers to address issues/concerns regarding transportation. • Monitor driver locations daily via Omnitracs GPS tracking system. • Work closely with local and corporate Save a Lot officers to enhance delivery efficiency and overall profitability of transportation via equipment utilization reports and weekly terminal invoices. • Develop new strategies to increase company revenue through asset reduction and backhaul utilization. • Project spikes in transportation to ensure coverage of all increases. • File all DVIR and temperature control records for each delivery to monitor the quality of each delivery. • Enter all assets, deliveries, and driver information into Innovative delivery tracking program. • Communicate with stores and local Save a Lot account representatives any and all issues causing delays.
