It's no exaggeration to say Mike saved my life in a professional sense. A scrummaster was the very first role I identified that we needed in order to bring Lives of the First World War to market, and to have even a remote chance of hitting our aggressive milestones. I'm happy to say Mike hit every deadline throw at him with good humour. Pure chance or fate, I feel very fortunate to have had Mike's calming influence and steady hand on the project. He provides the perfect link between the development team and business, always giving realistic, actionable assessments whilst never selling the development team short. He's keen, bright and accurate, exactly the kind of character that commands respect and by leading by example, he manages to bring everyone around him over the line together. Given the size and complexity of the Lives project where Mike was never out of his depth, I expect him to be a success in whatever new capacity he chooses.

I have worked for Mike for about 1.5 years where he was responsible for leading and managing the process engineering team for Core Map products. He has had a vast experience of managing the process and software requirements at HERE (formerly NAVTEQ), and is an excellent mentor for his team and a very good leader. He has the ability to quickly bring a new team member up to speed with the new processes and is always available when any form of support is needed. Mike is an excellent manager, with exceptional business analyst skills and has a great ability to understand business strategy and execute them to perfection at tactical levels. I would recommend Mike to any organization as an extremely talented Business Analyst, who is highly capable of leading and managing a global team to successfully attain organizational goals.
