  As a Research Assistant/Field Technician, I spent six seasons in south-­central Siberia, Russia. In the process of excavating, documenting, and curating artifacts and human skeletal materials from two cemeteries and one habitation site, I was privileged to serve in a number ofcapacities, including assisting with: data collection, site and feature photography for more than 30 human burials excavated from 2003–2005, topographic surveys, logistics coordination (arranged travel and accommodations for staff and student volunteers in Russia), research and editing, scanning, compiling, and digitally editing photographic documentation, and graphic design (designed the cover of a project publication,Khuzhir-­‐Nuge XIV,a Middle Holocene Hunter‐Gatherer Cemetery on Lake Baikal, Siberia, edited by Andrzej Weber, M. Anne Katzenberg, and Olga I. Goriunova. Northern Hunter-­‐Gatherers Research Series No. 3). During the course of the project, I also I developed moderate skill reading, writing and speaking Russian.
