Mike McCoy knows how to build a winning team. He provides challenging and stretch assignments. He would frequently conduct professional development discussions, and was always keenly aware of each person's career goals. He works with his direct reports to construct compelling development plans and appropriately nudges them when they don't execute. He readily takes on those who need help and further development, and works within proven developmental systems within the organization. In addition to his style of leading people, he's also an accomplished business leader. He has a history of progressive responsibilty, both internally and externally. He's sought out by not only team members, but also civic leaders, junior executives for his wise counsel and plain-spoken advice. Despite the fact that he is a passionate St. Louis Cardinals fan, I enthusiastically recommend Mike McCoy!
