Managed the creation of a new Asset Management Team and set-up an internal design office in Riyadh for National Water Company (NWC) as a key deliverable in the Performance Management Contract. Managed the delivery of projects for the Client NWC. Accountable for the Asset Management function from water source, treatment, supply, distribution, collection, wastewater treatment and re-use of the treated effluent. Set up the systems and processes to allow the team to function effectively and allow the capture and use of asset performance information and its use in asset management planning. Responsible for the planning of all water and wastewater facilities and network and the development of the CAPEX programme in relation to improving operational performance and efficiency. Managed the implementation of the procurement and asset records systems Delivered the first integrated master plan for Riyadh City allowing a twenty five year planning horizon for all the assets from source to re-use of the treated effluent Responsible for the Capital Investment Reporting and instrumental in securing the Capital Funding for the investment programme (approx 1 Bn USD per year) Worked with HR&D to develop and implement a significant training programme existing and new staff.
