I'll start by simply saying that working with Mike over the last 15 years has been a genuine pleasure. We've collaborated on several projects where Mike has provided invaluable knowledge and a lot of his time to help me when working with the mass spectrometer systems. We then started a closer working relationship when Mike showed a genuine interest in conducting usability studies. Since then, Mike has taken on the running of usability studies in several areas and was positioned to take over the running of that function for the Instrument Control department. Mike's ability to learn, adapt and throw himself at any challenge has repeatedly impressed. He is always keen to try something new and will go out of his way to help.
