The data often involved Fixtures/Tournament schedules, Game Statistics and Player data. Parsing them to CSV files, before uploading them to a sport specific database. Data came from a number of sources so crontab scripts were setup and automated to run daily to manage data checks and tasks before a confirmation email was sent out. Junior Trading Assistant/Sports Analysis Worked under a senior trader on a number of football leagues including England League One, England League Two, France Ligue 2, USA Major League Soccer and Australia A League. Used the mathematical models and analysis to create team ratings, compile odds and price up future events. I gained greater responsibilities on match days and worked alongside the senior traders trading in-running matches and placing live bets. Watcher Operations Controller Part of a team that created the watcher operations at Global Sports Statistics. Helping in the development of a watcher application that noted all the key events that happened in a football match. Headed up a team of 5 watchers that monitored the big European football leagues. Games had to be downloaded from our provider and distributed to our watching team. Games had to be watched daily and all significant events logged. Watchers had to be monitored so statistics were recorded to a high standard.
