As the Plant and Project manager, I developed the facility from conceptual layout, through startup and into commercial production. EMMI's $44.2 million cheese production facility in Platteville, Wi was a great suceess with coordinating equipment manufactured from 7 different countries through the regulatory approval process. The project organization delivered cost effective results, with the Architect, General Contractor and equipment specialists all reporting to my position. The 77,000 square foot facility is "state of the art"​, built under Lean principles,​ using the latest food safety concepts and construction strategies from all over the world. In addition, I was responsbile for selecting and building the entire manufacturing team, leading the transformation from construction to production.
