Mike approached our company on a strict cold call, knowing the building we were leasing from was in a transition, even though the timeframe was a bit abstract. He was not trying to get a deal done, but to let us know of the environment we could be involved in. We were getting no real information from the building we were in, but kept us appraised of movement in the market, as well as information he knew from his connections. He came to us about a year later and explained that we should consider a move. He mentioned that when they were to closing the leases in the building we were in, we could be in a market with about 130,000 sqft of others being terminated in lease agreements looking for like spaces. It paid off in spades for us. We actually got a better space (from Ford Centre to Union Plaza) for less money. Perfect timing for us.
