  At the present time I work at the Triad Technological Research Building. I am responsible for the day to day operations of all security on a 24/7 basis. I supervise 12 employees; I report and recommend solutions to problems to the Building Manager (Client Camelot Services). I am responsible for; work schedules, payroll, troubleshooting, managing the badge control system for building and infrastructure access to ensure compliance, prepare incident reports, work with the CCTV system, respond to alarms, take the lead during fire drill evaluation, and conduct inspections of the premises. I am additionally responsible for the security operations in regards to shipping, receiving, primary and secondary entrance and exits. I maintain control over overtime, manage the established contract hours, process all paperwork for new hires and renewals of Security Guard Certifications with the Maryland State Police. I am the primary point of contact for all problems 24/7 and make determinations as to the proper course of actions. I wrote the Internal Post Orders Manual used at the Triad Building. Show less

  Customs and Border Protection Officer: Assigned to the Commissioners Situation Room in support of Customs & Border Protection under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through efficient information management & distribution by collecting & disseminating enforcement and administrative information. The primary focus of significant events is terrorism and narcotics interdiction, but included events such as: shootings, arrests of high profile fugitives, negative media attention and politically sensitive incidents. Issues instructions to field personnel in support of National Security. US Customs, National Acct Mgr: Counseled importers in developing Compliance Measurement Enforcement and Cargo Security throughout the Supply Chain. Dealt with cargo security issues of interest or impact to the nationally designated acct and US Customs. Performed analytical work for the purpose of trend analysis & problem solving. Developed Action Plans to improve trade compliance for the accts under my leadership. Instructed accts on monitoring security of cargo from the point of origin overseas to its delivery & storage in the US. Security included an increase in border security, facilities, conveyances, employees, containers, aircraft, vessels, and warehouses. Supervisor Customs Inspector: Supervised Customs Inspectors, directing them in Special Enforcement Ops; led enforcement task forces, which included US INS, US Navy Security, Bermuda Police and H.M. Customs. Designed & implemented security measures, some of which included the passenger lounge, food and beverage areas, and the concealed baggage conveyor and designed a facility which provided the ability to conduct surveillance's of the baggage handlers. US Customs Program Officer: Responsible for several Headquarters National programs: Foreign Trade Zones, & Bonded Warehouses. Completed the comprehensive manuals for FTZ and BWH's.
