Instructed both prior enlisted students in the Seaman to Admiral 21 (STA-21) program as well as new accessions with specialized skills (medical, dental, law) in OIS. Extensive experience instructing classes ranging in size from 20 to 200 students. Instructed over 500 prospective naval officers the intricacies of naval weaponry, RADAR and SONAR resulting in zero failures. Revamped course material ensuring the most up to date information was taught in a concise, easy-to-learn format. Added several case studies to show practical application of objective course material. Instructed over 200 OIS students of various backgrounds in courses ranging from Naval Customs and Courtesies to Defense and Maritime Strategy. Also taught several Limited Duty Officers (LDO) and Chief Warrant Officers (CWO) on a wide variety of subjects. As part of a focus team, assisted in developing and testing curriculum in preparation for the arrival of Officer Candidate School; As Budget Officer for STA-21, managed an annual budget of over $2 million. Temporarily assigned through the Individual Augmentation program (IA) to directly support Naval Special Warfare Group Two during six month deployment. Supervised both U.S. and Iraqi troops in processing over 300 prisoners detained by SEAL team. Coordinated the photographing, evidence collecting, and interrogation of detainees before transporting to holding facility. Created and implemented a prisoner tracking system which was used to brief Flag Officers on a routine basis. System used several type of graphs to show progress and trend analysis in multiple areas. In Fallujah, was responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring over one hundred Special Warfare missions throughout Fallujah, Ramadi and Habbanyah which resulted in several dozen detainees and over one hundred enemy forces killed in action. Monitored and tracked contractor work during six week Intermediate Maintenance Availability (IMAV) resulting in all jobs completed on time or ahead of schedule. Implemented and maintained Surface Warfare Officer School at Sea program ensuring all junior officers were tracking to complete required modules on time in order to gain their qualification.
