Mike has been a shining example of what it means to be both an ambitious young man that is passionate about neuroscience and a phenomenal leader of the Hillel Chapter. There is something phenomenal about him rising above the ranks as times went on and maintaining an exceptional amount of composure. From doing the Onward Program in Tel Aviv to creating a pre medical society has made him become a forward thinking leader and someone that has given me the inspiration I needed to become the best version of me. Furthermore, he has shown his vulnerability and overcame the struggles that came with being Jewish but knowing that his place lies with the Jewish community. Being president in the fall will boost him even more recognition and make others feel strong about him. His enthusiasm, curiosity, and doing everything for the greater good are key aspiring traits that is needed in a world where people suffer from an imposter syndrome. If I had any colleague that brings the best of everything, Mike is truly one of the best examples of that.

I’ve had the pleasure of having Michael as a student in my COR 100 class at Le Moyne College. Michael has consistently engaged his fellow classmates in oral discussion and debates. His critical thinking, writing, and analytical skills far surpass his peers. He brings a unique perspective to class discussions and has demonstrated leadership skills with group assignments, by motivating his classmates to bring their best to the project. He is honest, dependable, and incredibly hard working. Beyond that, Michael is impressive with his commitment on the court as an athlete and his advancement in his studies and career. He has integrity, is detailed-oriented, organized, curious, and determined. Even with his assignments, he goes above and beyond. Michael approached me and said he desired to make a change on campus by writing a proposal to implement eco-friendly practices in the dolphin den with biodegradable paper products. I paired him with a senior student who was conducting similar research. Together, they worked on this initiative. He has a tremendous work ethic, drive, and ability to succeed in whatever task he is given. If given the opportunity to hire him for a position at my company I would do it in a heartbeat.
