I started as a cashier, then was moved to the service desk, then was trained as a specialist. As a specialist I gave change to cashiers, and closed the store by putting the cash from the registers in the safe, counting cash in the main drawer, checking lottery and closing that down, and locking the store with the closing manager. I took care of the animals that were on campus. we cleaned kennels and barn stalls, made sure all the animals were fed, walked the dogs, gave meds if any meds needed to be given, and wrote in the medical records. Once I graduated from the program I could no longer be a caretaker.
