  Providing case-focused country of origin, foreign legal, media and political research across the company and to counsel; a role in legal and media translation:• Case-focused country of origin information research in reply to queries by solicitors/barristers• Research to corroborate client statements against English and foreign coverage, establishing further details, drafting event chronologies• Research, analysis and primary drafting of elements in sections in submissions dealing with country information and political motivation (e.g. asylum and other protection, in-country change of status, extradition cases)• Monitoring, selection and circulation of English and translated media coverage to relevant case legal teams to maintain current awareness of relevant developments and context• Interaction with solicitors/barristers to develop research agendas in support of specific cases• Research on client background in support of in-house Due Diligence / compliance procedures (sources in English and foreign languages)• Monitoring, researching, corroborating online sources available in foreign languages only (Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Czech) on relevant new/draft foreign legislation and international public law developments: analysis and summary drafting for solicitors and barristers• Managing, prioritising and reporting the research task queue, formulating secondary media search tasks to other members of the media research team to support own research drafting• Supplying materials for updating in-house country information files to be used in submissions• Role in maintaining in-house electronic database archives• Translations: supporting the in-house translation team (Russian, Ukrainian).
