    • State Secretary to the Prime Minister of Sweden
      • Oct 2006 - Oct 2014

Following the 2006 general elections, I built up, organised and staffed the Moderate Party’s Coordination Office. I reported directly to the Prime Minister and was responsible for negotiating a common policy between the four government parties. Coordination cabinets, one for each party of government, consisted of a State Secretary and seven employees and had the task of ensuring that all coalition parties supported government policy. Together with my staff and the other parties’ coordination offices, I prepared all government decisions, policy stances and participated in the development of govenment and party policies. My task was also to ensure support for government policies within the Moderate parliamentary group and in the party organisation. Show less

I also had a unifying and project management role that included drafting the Moderate Party’s opposition budget, as well as participating in the negotiations over the formation of the Alliance for Sweden. I participated in the phrasing of the Alliance's energy agreement and the joint opposition budget proposals. I was also a committee officer for the Economy Committee. Show less
