Surely one of the biggest challenge were to ensure timely and quantitative deliveries as well as find ways to improve a reliability of delivery. Finally it led to changes in the production cycle, warehousing and the supply chain. I literally learnt how to gain a better customer focus and to increase the profitability of operations. In this position I qualified in industrial management which later led me to industrial and business engineering studies. Its main products were well known in Europe´s folding box board market. The factory´s turnover was circa 60 Meur (200 employees). In this position I was responsible for an advanced mill operational excellence project. Its main focus was to improve production efficiency, to minimize work in process levels, to enhance customer orientation and to develop tools for supply chain optimization. The implementation took three years in its entirety. During the project I took part in different operations related to production planning, logistics, sales and production which clarified the export business to me. Having implemented the sophisticated project together with a team I felt it to have being an excellent learning process. Thinking back this has created a strong base for my next positions. My main responsibilities as a Project Engineer were: - Production planning, scheduling and optimization - Different projects in the field of production efficiency - The implementation of manufacturing executing system
