As Head of the Financial Department at FEP First Connection, my responsibilities included leading more than one financial team (departmental and project-specific), as I was developing leadership skills, goal orientation, time management and strategic planning. The FFC Brain Teaser aims to enhance students' logical reasoning abilities and soft skills through the resolution of real-world business case studies. In this team, I developed the entire logistical budget for the activity by conducting a thorough supplier research and oversaw the selection of prizes to be awarded to participants. It was my first exposure to the event planning field.

BUZZ Cash 2022/23 Coordinator

BUZZ Cash, an event by StartUp BUZZ, invites high school students to conceive and put into action a business idea within a single day. Held in the city center of Porto, this year's edition had a charitable aspect, where all profits were directed towards charitable purposes. The 2022/23 edition saw the participation of more than 70 students from 8 schools across the country. Profits generated by the activity were around €500, and the event received television coverage on Porto Canal. In my role as a coordinator, I gained new insights into corporate social responsibility by interacting with various organizations. During my tenure as departmental director, my primary responsibilities included leading a team of 8 members, overseeing the BUZZ Sessions program, and recruiting business ideas and new members at the beginning of each semester. Additionally, I gained experience in conceiving and implementing an event from scratch with a team, as was the case with the Sessions Weekend, an intensive business idea development program. Lastly, I was responsible for the 4th edition of the PITCH Final, attracting 4 potential investors and presenting the 3 ideas worked on throughout the year. Show less

BUZZ Sessions are a program focused on ideation and acceleration of early-stage business ideas, with the main goal of promoting entrepreneurship within the academic community. Through my involvement in this program, I gained insights into teamwork and brainstorming in a collaborative format. In the consulting activity, I learned problem-solving methods for ideas entering the market.
