So, I travel to Delhi, India on business and I'm walking into a classy Indian restaurant and whom do I see? My former student form Mexico, Miguel Mier! Of all things!! USA and Mexico meet in India! But, what a great person to see on such an unusual occasion, Miguel, one of my very best students from the class. I taught Miguel as part of the communication curriculum and he distinguished himself as a great communicator in any language. He is clearly one of the rising executives in his company and in his country. Why? Because he is intelligent, personable and highly educated. He puts the whole package together-strategic thinking, clear communication and interpersonal skills. Watch this young executive. He will be in the top spot some day soon. Then, if I'm lucky I'll see him in Shanghai or Moscow or Rome or any of the other fascinating places his business will take him. Cinepolis is the largest movie theater company in Mexico and Latin America, and 4th largest worldwide. I am in charge of generating the revenue stream of the company. I supervise Sales, Film Booking, MKTIT, HHRR, and World Wide Operations. I have been heading operations since Cinepolis was a 350 screen company in Mexico. Today we have 3,200 screens in 12 countries. I have been in charge of opening and supervising our international corporate offices in San José (Costa Rica), Bogotá (Colombia), Sao Paulo (Brazil), Gurgaon (India) and Los Angeles (US).
