As the Manager Ground Operations (& Nominated Postholder) & OCC Manager, I am responsible for the day to day operations and responsible to ensure a well organized, safe and economic performance of aeroplane, passenger and freight handling as well as for ground services for AIS Airlines.Key tasks & responsibilities:• Responsible for compliance and safety for the Ground Ops department • Supervision of the Operational Control Center (OCC), Crew planning department and Dispatch department, Ground and Aircraft operation process• Flight preparation• Route preparation• Flight planning• Aircraft planning• Aircraft operation• Flight monitoring• Slot request• On Time Performance• FDP monitoring• Undertaking of stations visits and do relevant audits/inspections/trainings• Ensure that ground handling companies and airport operations comply with AIS Airlines safety standards at all time• To guide and monitor the services performed by (contracted) ground handling agents and to assure that the handling of passengers, baggage and cargo, towing, fuelling, de-icing as well as other servicing.• Ensuring compliance with the EASA regulations• Ensuring the improvement of safety and quality performance by implementing corrective and preventive actions identified by quality audits and safety investigations.• Improving manuals and procedures• Ensure aircraft documents, Jeppesen charts and navigation database of the fleet are up to date• Carry out risk assessments• Airport Categorization• Coordination of the Ground Operations process• Coordination of the Aircraft Operations process• And many more duties such as new route preparation and carrying out new projects Show less
