      Internship for orbital mechanics research focused on analysing the influence of the transformation between the Terrestrial Reference System, ITRS (Earth-Fixed), and the Celestial Reference System, GCRS (quasi-inertial), on the space debris propagation based on radar observations. This process is carried out according the IERS Conventions 2010, so that some phenomena like precession, nutation, length of day and polar motion, which integrate the Earth's rotation, have been considered in the transformation. This transformation is part of the reduction process (orbit determination) of the radar observation data of that object. • The internship was carried out for developing the final degree thesis. • Developed skills with MATLAB software and STK. • Extensive documentation was used. • Knowledge about orbit determination, reference systems transformation and Earth rotation was acquired.
