Miguel and I were classmates during the time we were both studying our Master's degree in Biomolecules and Cell Dynamics. We both attended the same lectures and were able to share some laboratory practicals. Miguel is one of the most hard-working persons I have ever known, he stayed over-time hours studying and finishing his class notes and always was very perfectionist with them. He was also very tidy and organized in the lab and was keen on helping others with his knowledge. I know that when he started his Master's Final Thesis in the CNIC, he became really interested in the cardiovascular diseases topic and he showed a great knowledge of his research during his Master's Final Thesis defense. I am sure that during his PhD training, he will be an amazing scientist and will keep on improving himself.
