Ceramic coating based on Ca/P were developed on biomaterials based on magnesium alloys using Plasme Electrolytic Oxidation (PEO). Those coatings were characterized and their biocompatibility was tested using endothelial, premyoblastic, pre-osteoblastic and macrophage cell lines. Osteoblastogenesis and ostoclastogenesis were tested as well. Master´s Dissertation grade. Characterization of the predation process of Bdellovibrio bacteriovorus HD100 over biotechnological interest preys. The objetive was to characterizate B. bacteriovorus as a new lytic agent for downtream process in the context of polyhidroxyalcanoates (PHA) producction by bacteria.
