* Team Lead for 20-acre down-spacing study. Make sure G&G delivers a quality 3-D geologic model. Extract a sector and load into CMG Reservoir Simulator. Perform a sensitivity analysis on various parameters that affect the reservoir, history match, and optimize. Calculate the drainage area for current wells, and model 20-acre and 40-acre “what if” scenarios. Successfully drilled 20-acre wells in study area. * Assist the asset team and corporate development transition our newly acquired properties from concept/acquisition, to a development/production asset. * Perform type curve analysis, calculate operating expenses and capital to develop and maintain a reserves database. * Work with G&G and completions engineer to provide guidance on what intervals to complete and how to complete them. Participated in a completion best practices study, which has significantly reduced completion costs.* Involvement in a 4 well appraisal program to redevelop a mature field and add potential overseen targets. Recommend well tests and analyze the horizons being tested one by one as we complete up the wellbore. * Provide engineering support to calculate Initial Gas in Place in the Bossier and Cotton Valley formations in our East Texas fields. Work closely with the G&G staff to design and optimize a Field Development Plan and select new drilling locations and recompletions as scheduled in the Development Plan.* Update reserves on a quarterly basis, as well as the production type curves for the different plays: Bossier, Cotton Valley, Travis Peak, and Haynesville Shale. Reevaluate capital spending and lease operating expense to closely follow recent projects. * Organize well reviews with the field personnel to optimize well performance and identify work over opportunities. The recent installations of Plunger Artificial Lift systems have increased production by an average of 100 mcf/d per well.* Assist Corporate Development in the evaluation of nearby oil properties in East Texas, Northwest Louisiana, Oklahoma, and southern Kansas; with the goal to increase oil production as gas prices continue to fall. The geologic plays that were evaluated were: Woodbine Shale, Tonkawa/Cleveland, Mississippian Limestone, and other Haynesville/Bossier properties surrounding our leased acreage. Show less

Identifying which analogs can be weighed more heavily.* Creating integrated production models for the different development scenarios and calculating production functions, system limitations, and flow assurance. Building MBAL, Gap, and Prosper models to measure expected performance from different fluids, pressures, initial rate expected, compression timing, and configuration (TLP, subsea flowline).
