Morón Ammonia Plant, Petrochemical Complex producing fertilizers for Petroquímica de Venezuela (PEQUIVEN), which built a new ammonia plant in Venezuela; replacing an old fertilizer plant. Petrochemical piping EPC, Designed pipe work & preliminary structures as well as made accurate scale layouts. In 2015, given responsibility to manage all the vessels & towers, conducted technical management of the project; resulted in a raise. • Prepared field piping system test packages, e.g. system limit on P&ID & piping isometrics; reviewed 3D model with Navisworks Navigator. • Assisted Field Construction teams in solving field issues and mentored/trained new members of department staff. Project: 1800 MTPD Ammonia Plant – in 2013/2014, EPC, Petrochemical – Developed piping arrangements for process and utility systems using CADWorx (2D/3D software), focusing on safety of operation & maintenance. o Led initiative to implement new software (Spoolgen), during field phase of the last IPC project. o Extracted, checked, & delivered pipe spools & conducted field inspections. o Used technical expertise to validate drawings for the newly constructed plant. o Contributed to increasing operational efficiency and decreasing staff hours.
