Bio
Frances Gomes Marthone, PhD, RN
I worked along side Miguel as a professional colleague, he was always approachable with issues related to the IT experience at Georgia State. He is very knowledgeable and patient with all questions and requests. He would always take the time to educate new and senior users with the latest tips and tricks to master programs or troubleshoot situations that often plagued our computers on campus. He was eloquent in his explanation always leaving the customer feeling grateful for the experience. Miguel is proficient in his work with programs and hardware and is often working to enhance the IT experiences for all the users. He is an asset to the department and a true professional with every customer encounter.

Miguel has been an excellent resource and support for me at Georgia State University. He is eager to assist with any IT project. Miguel is patient as he trains and educates nursing faculty and students. He is self-motivated and creative. He seems to know what we need to design, implement, and evaluate high-fidelity simulations when we merely say "I think I would like to..." Miguel can quickly fill-in-the-blanks with the most current evidence-based practices and protocols. He educated and assisted the faculty when we had to transition without notice from in-person learning to virtual education. Miguel appears to genuinely care about improving the quality of education for our nursing students so that they can make a positive difference in the lives' of their clients.
