At present, I am in charge of different deployment projects, carried on in different Spanish airports and ACCs (Area Control Centers). The list of projects I am working on nowadays is:544/18 “Suministro e instalación en estado operativo de equipamiento SACTA en Torres de Control”. In this project, the following activities are being carried out:- Re-installation of SACTA System in its new location;- Re-installation of SACTA System Technical Supervision in its new location;- Deployment of new ATCO Control Positions in some Control TWRs;- New Optical Fiber installation. The list of sites where these activities are being execute is the following:- TWR San Sebastián (EAS)- TWR Gran Canaria (LPA)- TWR A Coruña (LCG)- TWR Lanzarote (ACE)- TWR Santander (SDR)- TWR Ibiza (IBZ)- TWR Granda (GRX)- TWR Reus (REU)232/19 “SEO de Pantallas en TWR para ampliación de superficie de visualización en Posiciones de Control del Aeropuerto de Málaga”. In this project, the following activities are being carried out:- New Optical Fiber installation.- Modification of the ATCOs Positions in the TWR;- New CWP display unit installation (30” monitor) in each ATCO Position.388/19 “Desarrollo de nuevas herramientas de explotación del sistema SACTA”. The main objective is to put in service a new operational tool developed, for data analysis. All necessary HW will be deployed along all Spanish TWRs and ACCs. Show less

At present, I am involved in two different projects in the framework of SESAR2020 programme, I am responsible of the entire task allocated to Indra and the management of all the activities related to the validation exercises where Indra is involved. • PJ-06 (ToBeFree): the main objective of this project is to validate a Free Route airspace in a high and very high complexity environments with cross-border coordination. Within this project, Indra is involved in three different validation activities, one with ENAIRE and other two with PANSA and Oro Navigacija (ON). In these last two validations, one more factor is also added, which is to simulate a cyberattack. • PJ-08 (AAM - Advanced Airspace Management): this project addresses the evolution of the Dynamic Airspace Configuration (DAC) Concept developed in SESAR 1, to prove and further increase its maturity by enhancing the operational processes and automated tools that will support Sector Design and Sector Configurations. Indra took part in a validation exercise with ENAIRE, where the main objective of the exercise is the Operational feasibility of DAC planning and execution process, including HP assessment. For this purpose, a platform was set up in which, in addition to an iTEC system, other systems/tools were deployed: iACM (Airspace Capacity Manager) system, and a new graphic tool developed to support controllers the sector configuration changes. In addition, I am also responsible for centralizing and coordinating with ENAIRE all related work on the validation platforms used in the all validation activities we perform jointly (ENAIRE and INDRA) during 2018 and 2019. In SESAR 1 I was involved in different projects, both technical and operational, where we collaborate with many other European partners such as: EUROCONTROL, ENAIRE, NATS, ENAV, DSNA, DFS, Thales, Leonardo, and many others. My main task was to manage internally these projects and actively participate in all the tasks assigned to Indra. During all this period I was involed in around 10 different projects, with the role of "Point of Contact" or "Project Manager", all of them belonging to WP5 (TMA operations) and WP10 (En-Route & Approach ATC Systems).• WP 5 - TMA operations:o 5.5.1: Trajectory Management Framework in TMAo 5.7.2: Development of 4D Trajectory-Based Operations for separation management using RNAV/PRNAV• WP 10 - En-Route & Approach ATC Systems: o 10.2.1: ATC Trajectory Management Designo 10.2.2: Trajectory Management Exchange Formats Definitiono 10.4.4: Time Based Separationo 10.7.1: Enhanced Datalink Features for all phase of flighto 10.9.1: Integration of Queue Managemento 10.9.2: Multiple airport arrival/departure managementI was also responsible of two validation activities carried out by Indra with ENAIRE in the framework of SESAR projects. In the first validation, carried out in March 2015, a new version of SACTA, known as SACTA 4.1, was validated, along with some new functionality, such as the "risk module".In the second validation, carried out in February 2016, the controllers were able to have the first contact with the new Indra system, iTEC.In addition, I have also participated in different working groups and workshops related to trajectory prediction and management. AENA, Air Europa, CRIDA, INECO and Indra were involved in this project. The objectives of this project were: to validate operational procedures, that bring the maximum benefit to a flight in its approach phase to LEPA(PMI), through short-medium term ATM solutions (Continuous Descent of Approach - CDA); to show the benefits of OPTA procedures in emissions and fuel burn; to obtain acceptance for the procedures from Pilots and ATCos. The main objective of Indra was to create a tool to assist ATCos in using the SRATs (Speed Reduction Advisory Tables). OPTA-IN’s ATCo tool eases the operational information needed when applying the CDAs. My role in the project was to manage all the activities allocated to Indra (requirements definition, prototype development and testing). Show less

The main objective of this project was to develop different solutions in order to get an automatic air traffic management system in TMAs. Indra was one the companies involved in this project. The consortium of different Spanish companies was leaded by Boing Research and Technology Europe (BRTE). My role in the project was to manage all the activities allocated to Indra (requirements definition, prototype development, testing).
