In my role as director, I transformed what had been a basic recreation program into a high-quality summer camp. • Consistently received the highest praise from parents and campers in parent surveys: 100% stated that their child greatly enjoyed Champ Camp; 95% stated their child had become more independent; 100% stated that their child had become a better swimmer.

  Launched a brand-new community pool, assisting in the oversite of architectural planning, building construction, and was responsible for the development of The Lil’s marketing plan and all systems of operation. Created the tag line: Easy Family Fun, which is in use today, as it perfectly encompasses the mission of The Lil’. The Lil’ serves over 2,000 patrons each summer and provides Red Cross swim curriculum for all suburban JCYS summer camps.

  North Shore Day Camp focused on building camaraderie, sportsmanship, and confidence, in a spirited, non-competitive, family-like environment. Grew campership by 115% over seven years, serving 280 K-8th graders in my final year.
