From August 2011 to June 2012 I have been doing two internships at Waag Society: - Till December 2011 my role as intern of the Creative Care Lab was to explore future scenarios, all health-related. There was especially a focus on self-managment of chronic illnesses (e.g. Diabetes). And different roles next to that : organization of a workshop intitled "The Expressiveness of Movement" (video: http://vimeo.com/31023477), digital fabrication at FabLab Amsterdam, hands-on tinkering (prototyping+arduino)... -From January 2012 on, I developped further one of the concept as one of my two graduation projects. From gathering user-experience (serie of interviews) till manufacturing a working prototype (process: http://mickaelboulay.fr/index.php?/menu/measuring-less-process/). The result is the project called "Measuring Less to Feel More" which is proposing a new type of Glucose meter and interaction language for people living with type II Diabetes. The project is today still running to be brought to the market. Show less
