      Full design portfolio from garages to The Leonard Cheshire Foundation Home in Moscow. McCarthy and Stone projects throughout the Northwest. The Moscow contract was an eye opener. Every item had to be tagged individually with container numbers. Two separate containers were loaded with Marlboro cigarettes and Levi jeans. This was to "organise" ok bribe! the Russian version of our power companies to link power to the site. The construction process was halted for over a year as the home had been found to be located over fifty miles away from Moscow. Basically hidden in a forest. After heated and lengthy debate, the location was agreed within an acceptable distance to the city. Building commenced and on completion was , eventually, opened by Raisa Gorbachev. Show less
