I had the pleasure of working with Mick Geffinger at Wynn/Encore Las Vegas in the Entertainment Department. We both collaborated daily on projects relating to ticket sales and promoting the shows Le Rêve - The Dream and Headliners in the Encore Theater. Our daily communication with AEG who promoted most of the Headliner performances required exceptional and efficient attention to detail. Mick was instrumental in changing from one ticketing system to a new ticketing system and tirelessly had to resolve urgent "bugs" to ensure accuracy. He managed a team of supervisors and guest facing staff in the box office as well as the ushers in both theaters. His skills as a leader always proved his compassion for his staff, colleagues, and stakeholders while maintaining a positive workplace. His impeccable knowledge with the ticketing system constantly building out new and existing products with urgent deadlines was a testimony to his dedication to succeed.
