During this time I was working at two Army Careers Information Offices. Whilst at ACIO Ilford I was a member of the team and then on moving to ACIO Rochdale was the senior team member. During this period I was employed as the team leader of a busy generator repair section with responsibility for a fleet of over 150 pieces of generating equipment. My Duties included: The day to day management of personnel within the team.Ensuring all the generating equipment was available for use by the Regiment for both training and out of area operations.Ordering any spares required to enable an efficient repair of the generating fleet.

I was employed initially within the mechanical transport section to ensure the fleet of vehicles were available for use as often as possible both during the daily routine and on out of area operations within the Balkan States. I soon moved teams within the section to become team leader for driver training at all levels from car to LGV Class 1. My Duties included: Accounting for all fuel and lubricants used by 1st Armoured Division whilst on operations within the Balkans amounting to over 1,000,000 litres in a year.Coordinating all aspects of military operations including support to NATO and UN Forces.Coordinating and conducting driver training to over 100 students resulting in a 95% pass rate.
