      In the role of co-founder, I am responsible for the financial affairs of Sofia Melius, maintaining the financial administration and determining the price of our product.       When I was working as a temporary employee at Woonbedrijf, I built an MS web Access app, in which an executive company could keep track of changes in the ventilation system of houses. In this way, it was possible for Woonbedrijf to see directly what these changes entailed. Building this app meant designing a database (SQL Server) that was able to store the information about the ventilation data, building forms that are user-friendly to update the ventilation data and building overviews that are user-friendly to show the ventilation data.       During my internship at Woonbedrijf, I analyzed the possibilities to link two systems and I chose to build this link the best possible and at the same time feasible manner (i.e. ETL construction using SQL Server). The linking process I build extracted the data from a CSV dump file, translated into the data that was useable for the target system and loaded into a SQL Server table, which was the source for the target system. This process was build using SISS. Besides this, I advised Woonbedrijf on how to improve the reliability of the data from houses. Show less

      As a holiday employee at Vanderlande I built an MS Access app that checked the quality of the data in the ERP-System of Vanderlande (JD Edwards). The quality checks extracted the customer, supplier and employee from the Oracle database. Using SQL and VBA the app checked these data records to business rules for the data and gave options on how data should be changed to match these business rules. Besides this data quality app, I also built an MS Access app which improved the process duration and reliability to update currency rates. This app extracted the new currency rates from an excel sheet, checked whether there were changes in the currency rates, implemented the changes in the ERP-System (JD Edwards) and checked whether changes were implemented correctly. I advised Vanderlande how they could make the process duration faster and improve the reliability of the process. There for I suggested to automate a part of the process using a tool. To select a tool, they could use to automate this process I had investigated which security, technical and user requirements this tool needed to for fill.
