Aiding strategies to transition the City of Atlanta to 100% clean energy sources by 2035. Member of the Georgia Coalition of Local Governments intervening in the GPC 2022 IRP process on behalf of our community to support solar program expansions, equitable energy efficiency programs, and data transparency. Earned Atlanta to be included as an A List City and recognized as a Climate Action Leader for 2021 (received C in 2020). Partnered to create a Atlanta Energy Map with the GIS team to show energy star scores, energy use intensity, & properties that have not reported. Additionally, created a Tableau dashboard that shows: 1) Climate Action Progress & Goals 2) GHG Emissions by Sector 3) Business as Usual vs Actual Decarbonization (CO2e) Path

GLOBE Organization President

Led an upcycling project called "Plastics Around the Globe," this project involved the use of: 1. Protocycler: to shred plastic and create recycled plastic filament. 2. Snapmaker: a three module system of 3-D printing, carving, and lazering. 3. Ultimaker: high-tech 3-D printer. GLOBE made a video submission for a Climate Change Research Grant by VISTA to receive $10,000 for further development in this project to collect more plastic pollution and be able to divert higher amounts of waste into usable products and eventually form a community drop-off center.

M.A. in Global Sustainability with a concentration in Policy and a certification in Sustainable Business. Highlighted Projects: 1. Case Study on Pinellas County: A regional Framework for Enhancing Resilience through Solar + Storage and Microgrids.-Innovative project, which U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Labratory (NREL) selected Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council as a collaborative research effort to identify solar potential in the surrounding counties. -The Pinellas County Solid Waste Facility was chosen for highest prioritization with the abiltiy to utilze floating solar. -Analysis included FEMA lifelines, Financial and Resiliency results for payback, NPV, grid energy supplied, IRR, and system survivability rates. 2. Manatee County Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventory-The ClearPath platform was utilized to perform a GHG inventory on municipal operations. -Analysis of Scope 1,2, and 3 emissions and recommendations to target net-zero emissions. 3. Solar Energy Leadership in Manatee County -Focus area on this project was on project financing to determine cost benefit analysis, life cycle cost analysis (LCCA), and recommendations of funding opportunities for the county. 4. Manatee County Technical Manual: Tree Protection-Identified comparisons of tree canopy data collection methods, tree policies, economic benefit values, and sustainable plans to reach 40% tree canopy coverage as a benchmark.

Sustainability and Resilience Intern

Co-led the LEED for Cities certification project, driving to LEED Gold Status. The scope of the project involved delivering a portfolio of diverse sustainabiltiy and resiliency categories to holistically analyze the City of Tampa's sustainabiltiy efforts. This also included evaluating key performance indicators utilizing the USGBC ARC platform (such as tons of CO2e per capita, solid waste generated, waste diverted, residential water consumption per capita, etc.). Additionally, the intial stages of the Climate Equity and Resilience Plan for the City of Tampa were performed such as researching successes of other Climate Action Plans of various cities with high-risk for climate change impacts and assisting in the development of a Request for Proposal to complete this plan.
