      Joining a newly formed Multi-Academy Trust on opening day, I played a key role in developing the Trust from the ground up from day one. With seven primary academies within the Trust, I supported the CEO and Headteachers by providing a Professional Assistant and administrative service at an executive level. Developing relationships with Headteachers and staff, building rapport and liaising with Trustees and Governors and establishing links between the academies was a small but crucial part of my role. As well as providing an Executive PA service to the CEO which included a confidential secretarial service, diary management, meeting preparation and minuting, confidential support and general admin duties, I also provided a clerking service to Trust academies, managed and supported the Trusts' Clerks to Governors, designed and produced Trust documentation such as handbooks and newsletters and developed Trust policies and procedures. Responsible for recruitment and selection procedures which included designing job information packs, advertising, shortlisting and reference applications - I also processed DBS (Disclosure and Barring) applications for senior members of staff. My role here was to provide PA duties to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team. Fast paced, changeable and varied, I had to think on my feet and not panic in a crisis. Managing the Headteachers diary, maintaining a public relations role, prioritising and delegating tasks, fielding calls from staff and parents and ensuring the Headteachers day runs smoothly were crucial aspects of the role. I was also responsible for co-coordinating recruitment and selection procedures, school admissions, administration of exclusions, administration of staff appraisals and I undertook the additional role of Educational Visits Coordinator. Assisting with health related absence management, staff appraisal and performance reviews, capability and disciplinary procedures and DBS processing, it was imperative that a high level of confidentiality was maintained.
