  I founded (with partners), operated and coded for this small software contracting and consulting firm. Over the years, I performed business development, sales, human resources, finance and operations functions for the business. We grew the business from two to twenty four software developers. Solution Logic was sold to Software Technology Group in 2003. As a software developer for a consulting business, I worked in a wide variety of work environments, contributing to an even wider array of software projects. My motto is always "have brain, will travel"! Some of my favorite projects were: --Designed and implemented portions of a sophisticated Motif/XWindow/HP-UX based user interface that controls a real-time silicon wafer manufacturing machine. -- Provided technical leadership for a 25-person, multi-year, multi-site software project. Coordinated development and testing by 4 developer teams working on separate project components; ensured that 7 ever-changing software components successfully interfaced at each required point. -- Re-designed and re-implemented an image controller for a forward-looking infrared vision system. -- Traveled to Ireland to support installation and first production use of automated silicon wafer manufacturing equipment, working in a Class 100 clean room for two weeks.
