Morten Holm-Petersen
Michelle contributes with a strong combination of research skills and presentation skills. I was her manager when she worked for Microsoft from January 2019 to February 2020. As her main project, Michelle planned, executed, analyzed and presented observational user research performed on-site in 12 warehouses to inform the redesign of a solution for warehouse workers. Michelle has strong skills in selecting methods and executing the user research as well as in synthesizing insights. I was particularly impressed with how Michelle was able to prioritize the insights and present them in multiple sessions to the app team in a way that motivated the team to improve the user experience. This led directly to the app team prioritizing its entire backlog for the release based on the prioritized insights.
