During the fieldwork experience in Acacia Adult Day Services, I was able to have an understanding on how occupational therapy works to meet the needs of many individuals in that particular setting. I had the opportunity to interact, socialize and even lead a group activity, where I realized that I truly enjoy making others smile, feel engage, and overall enjoy the activities. I use my humor to maintain them engage along with many different voice dynamics that help make the activities more exciting. My true personality was able to come afloat and I really enjoyed working with the individuals at the adult day care. It was a very lovely experience. Show less

Although Fieldwork experience was a couple of days, It was a great experience where I learned that as human beings regardless of whatever condition or disability we may have, we all deserve respect and to be treated properly. My experience at Braille institute was very heart warming because I was able to hear many stories that made me have tremendous respect towards individuals with disabilities. I learned to properly guide the visually impaired and describe an object in detail to the point where the individual could properly imagine the object. I had to be very specific and enjoyed the experience because I did not know I was good at describing in a detailed manner. Overall, it was a great experience where I learned about respect towards others. Show less
