This position interfaces with our Area Managers… Show more As a Funding Analyst I perform a variety of loan processing and funding duties within a fast paced office and will be responsible for achieving the following three goals: providing a high level of service to the dealer body, ensuring potential risk is minimized for the Company through accurate and thorough verifications and to have a consistent and high level of communication with internal and external customers while meeting monthly quotas. This position interfaces with our Area Managers, Automobile Dealers, Customers, and Credit reference sources on a daily basis so the ability to provide top notch customer service while efficiently multi-tasking is a must. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Communicate with Area Managers and Dealers in regards to the status of the loan applications being worked. Ensure submitted contracts and loan packages are complete, accurate and reflect proper approval authorities relative to the underlying credit decision. Ensure contracts submitted for funding have been accurately completed, specifically Truth-In-Lending and Regulation Z disclosures and ensure the accurate calculation and proper disclosure of federal or mandated fees. Accurately complete employment, residence or landlord, and income verifications on transactions submitted for funding and point out any variance to the original decision. Closely inspect loan package documentation for suspicious or fraudulent documentation. Learn and comply with all United Auto Credit Corporation’s underwriting policies and procedures. Build strong working relationships with the Sales/Marketing Team, Credit Team and Dealership Body. Perform other related duties as required or as assigned.
