Michelle volunteered through Senior Connections in Evanston. In that capacity she helped my Mother who was a Super Senior in her late 80's, physically fit, but in cognitive decline. Michelle's visits were a treat for Mom. Michelle was like one of the granddaughters Mom never had. Her kindness, use of photography, and walks with Mom helped her to make the best of her life at that time. Mom is still alive and relatively well at 93, but now she is in a nursing home. I am happy I am still able to walk and swim with her as long as I provide the scaffolding for her problems with executive functioning. Warm regards and thanks to Michelle for her volunteer time and talent in relating so nicely to a super senior like my Mom.
