I practice the buy, renovate, rent, sell method. We purchase properties that are in need of some renovation, improve their market value, offer them as long term rentals and then when we feel we have held onto them long enough to secure gains (2-5 years), we sell and reinvest into additional properties. In the future, we will be looking to expand our knowledge base into multifamily properties, but for now we are focusing on learning as much as we can from people who have been successful in this industry and building our equity.
