Worked under the Plant Collections Manager to update the botanical garden database, IrisBG. I used GIS and the Field Maps ESRI application to locate and map key specimens of interest. I then used these data points to create self-guided tours for guests to go on using Garden Explore within IrisBG. Also gained experience working in the gardens, identifying plant species and cultivars, and photography. Worked under the Plant Collections Manager to update the botanical garden database, IrisBG.
