I researched in maternal-fetal medicine under the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I took part in the Pfizer Investigational RSV Vaccine Phase 3 Clinical Trial, trying to recruit participants and following up with already enrolled mothers. I learned how to effectively communicate with patients, update enrollment logs, and navigate the patient portal in an effort to streamline the research process. • Screened 500+ potential mothers to enroll in Pfizer Investigational RSV Vaccine Phase 3 Clinical Trial based on a set of inclusion and exclusion criteria set forth by Pfizer. • Followed up with mother participants through weekly calls, journal logs, and monthly outpatient visits to monitor any reactions, side effects, or adverse events from the vaccine. • Worked closely with my preceptor, fellow research coordinators, and PI to keep up to date with new study protocols and communicate any issues or findings
