Completion of a Senior Thesis Research Project for partial satisfaction of graduating with Departmental Honors. Under the guidance of PhD candidate Amy Moser, designed and completed a research project regarding the formation processes of metasedimentary lower continental crust. Project primarily involved mineral separation and sample preparation techniques, usage of advanced laboratory equipment including SEMs and LA-ICPMS systems, and data reduction/analysis with various softwares. Project also involved writing scientific literature in the form of both publication-quality papers and conference-quality posters, as well as delivering talks on the subject of study to scientific and layman audiences.
